Attorney Profile

Albert Copeland is an attorney whose practice focuses on representing injured investors in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations and in state and federal courts. Albert seeks to help investors recover losses caused by broker-dealer misconduct and fraud, including issues involving suitability, churning, selling away, failure to diversify, breach of fiduciary duty, overconcentration, and securities such as non-traded REITs, variable annuities, structured products, private placement investments, and other investment products.

Albert is an active member of the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association (PIABA), which is an international bar association whose members represent investors in disputes with the securities industry. Albert currently serves on PIABA’s self-regulatory organization committee, and joins the association in their mission to advocate for equal access to justice for investors and to promote fairness in the rules governing dispute resolution for investor claims against securitiesand commodities brokerage firms, registered investment advisory firms, and their associated representatives.

Albert and his wife, Adelaide, live in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Together they enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Albert and Adelaide attend the Church of the Advent in downtown Birmingham.
